How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Lovelane App - Launch the app on your mobile device (iOS or Android)
- Navigate to Settings - Tap your profile icon, then select "Settings"
- Select "Account Management" - Scroll down and tap "Account Management" or "Privacy & Safety"
- Choose "Delete Account" - Tap "Delete My Account" button at the bottom
- Confirm Deletion - Enter your password and tap "Delete My Account Permanently"
Data That Will Be Deleted
- Profile Information: Name, bio, photos, age, location, all profile details
- Matches & Likes: All your matches, likes sent and received
- Messages & Chats: All conversations with matches
- Anonymous Posts: All anonymous community posts you created
- Account Credentials: Email, phone number, login information
- Subscription Data: Premium subscription status and payment history
Data Retention & Processing Time
Immediate Deletion: Your account and most personal data are deleted immediately after you confirm deletion. Your profile will no longer be visible.
30-Day Retention Period: Some data is retained for up to 30 days for:
- Safety and security monitoring (fraud prevention, abuse detection)
- Compliance with legal obligations and law enforcement requests
- Resolution of disputes or technical issues
Request Account Deletion
Enter the email and phone number associated with your Lovelane account. Your request will be reviewed and processed within 72 hours.
Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (that cannot identify you personally) may be retained indefinitely for business intelligence.
⚠️ Account Deletion is Permanent
Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered. All matches, conversations, and profile information will be permanently lost. Make sure to download any data you want to keep before deleting.
